After years of training (BS, MS, research assistant, lab manager, PhD, postdoc) under the guidance of exceptional mentors, I will be starting my own research lab at Auburn University in August 2015. As I prepare for this next step in my career I reflect upon my mentors, labmates, and family who have supported me along the way and I am humbly appreciative of the time and energy they have invested in me. I am excited to continue to the legacy of support as I begin to train our next generation of scientists.
